Steven co-founded SMP Nutra seven years ago with $120 in a bank account. No funding, no loans — just work. Today the company operates over 150,000 square feet of manufacturing space, employs more than 100 people, and generated nearly $50 million in revenue this year. He built SMP by doing what most people in the industry outsource — bringing it in-house. From a subcontracting model to a vertically integrated manufacturer with NSF 455-2 certification, every stage of that growth came from a willingness to take risks and refuse to settle once things got comfortable. That included relocating the company’s headquarters from New York to Florida, where he built SMP’s manufacturing operation from the ground up. Steven has worn many hats at SMP — legal, accounting, operations, management — and that’s by design, not necessity. He’s a systems thinker and engineer at heart, and today his focus is on building the custom software and operational infrastructure that makes SMP faster, smarter, and a better partner for its customers. SMP is a family business in the truest sense. Steven’s wife serves as Chief Human Resources Officer. His business partner — a twenty-year friendship turned seven-year partnership — is uncle to his kids. That dynamic isn’t an accident. It’s the culture.

Frank has been an entrepreneur since before he was old enough to drive — selling horse racing picks at Aqueduct and building a clothing company at sixteen. His father, a thoroughbred trainer, eventually connected him to the supplement manufacturing industry, and he never looked back. Fifteen years in nutraceuticals later, Frank has served as SMP Nutra's commercial engine since day one. Before SMP, he launched three separate ventures to eight-figure revenue in their first year of operation — a track record built entirely on relationships and deep product knowledge. As CEO, Frank's focus is keeping the business running smoothly — resolving issues before they become problems, meeting with customers and vendors, and managing a book of business that touches virtually every account SMP serves. He works with brands of all sizes, from startups launching their first SKU to established companies scaling production. Frank is also the formulator behind many of SMP's stock formulas, building products around efficacy rather than trends. Fifteen years in vitamins has made him the person clients call when they need someone who genuinely knows what works and why. He pairs that knowledge with a natural ability to connect with people — customers stay with SMP in large part because of Frank. Whether he's formulating a new product, managing the company's marketing and brand presence, or closing a deal on a handshake, Frank operates the same way he always has — all in.
