Role Summary
The General Worker is responsible for the safe operation of production lines while ensuring quality standards are met.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the set-up, start-up, and operation of the production line in accordance with established guidelines.
- Responsible for troubleshooting issues that occur during the production process.
- Routine maintenance and upkeeping of machine equipment, as well as recording data and completing paperwork.
- Operating the machinery following specific guidelines.
- Ensuring products meet quality standards.
- Inspecting products and packaging items for shipping.
- Keeping track of inventory.
- Maintaining a safe working environment.
- Other duties as assigned by management.
Education & Experience
High School Diploma or GED.
Skills & Abilities
- Prior manufacturing experience is required.
- Ability to read, write and perform math operations.
- Ability to multi-task under pressure, quick thinker.
- Team player, able to work with others.
Physical Requirements
- Standing for long periods of time.
- Lifting up to 50 lbs.
